The Legacy Society

Charitable bequests are one of the simplest ways to leave a legacy gift to the
Plymouth Public Library Foundation (PPLF). Consider including a gift in your will or living trust, or naming the PPLF as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy, IRA, or 401(k) account.

The IRS permits a 100% charitable estate tax deduction when you make a bequest.

Gifts may be a specific amount or a percentage of your estate.

Gifts may be made with cash, securities, real estate, or personal property.

If you include the Plymouth Public Library in your will, please let us know so
that you can become a member of the Legacy Society, the Library’s honorary recognition society for individuals who have made provision for the Library in their estate plans. You will also become a member of the Plymouth Public Library Guild. Benefits include:

  • Invitation to the annual Library Guild Recognition Dinner
  • Special invitations to other social events, such as the Art Gallery openings, book talks and lectures
  • The gratification of knowing you are part of a dedicated community that contributes to the education, enrichment and entertainment of Plymouth residents in perpetuity
